Your Bold Smart Cylinder has over 2 years’ battery life. That’s because you open and lock the door manually. You’ll get notified in advance if your battery is almost empty. Missed out on all these notifications? That’s ok. It will automatically go into the battery saver mode. This way your battery will last a few weeks longer. So, an empty battery is mission impossible.

Don't worry ‘bout a thing. We’ve built different features in the Smart Lock system to ensure your digital security. Messages between your Bold products and the Bold server are end-to-end encrypted. Each Bold product has its own unique code – that cannot be copied. This way, your certified products can only communicate with each other and our server.

You don’t have to, if you don’t feel like it. Easily turn on the auto-activation feature in the Bold app. The Bold Smart Lock recognizes you and activates itself when you’re arriving home. To make sure this doesn't happen constantly when you're moving around your house, there's a 200-meter safety zone around your smart lock. That means, if you are within this zone: your Bold Smart Lock will never activate automatically.
