You can now control your Bold Smart Lock using Google Assistant on Google Home devices.

We're very excited to announce that you can now control your Bold Smart Lock using Google Assistant on Google Home devices. To enable the feature, run through this guide and follow these steps.

• Make sure your Bold app is updated to the latest version.
• You need to have a Bold Smart Lock and Google Home device.
• You must have the Google Home app installed on your phone.
• You must have the Google Assistant app installed on your phone (if it's not already).
• You need to have a Google account in order for all of this magic to work! If you don't already have one, create one here.

1. Open the Google Home app and sign in.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, tap Devices.
3. Long press the device card for your Google Home device and select Settings.
4. Tap Connected Services, then tap Login to connect your account with Bold.
5. Select Bold as your app and follow the prompts to enter your Bold pin code on your Google Home app or Google Assistant app or any iOS or Android device which is connected to the same network as your smart lock/lights by bluetooth or wi-fi connection. You can find the PIN code in Bold app -> Integrations -> Google Home.

The Bold Smart Lock x Google Home integration also enables you to unlock your door with just your voice. We're not a big fan of this because we stand for security, and the 0.00001 chance that someone could stick their head into your letterbox and use this command, is a 0.00001 chance too high, so we advise against this particular use case. However, we thought we'd let you know that it's now possible, in case you decide to use it.
